sire: Shildt's Dusty Patch, #HM52824204
(Dusty is a littermate of Lehner's Barney Patch, see Barney's pedigree)
dam: Oak Groves Flirt Patch, #HM79279505
breeder: John Kalinowski, Erie PA

4-generation pedigree  (PDF, 12KB - requires Acrobat Reader to view)

Boomer was named after baseball pitcher David Wells, although we can't remember why.  Boomer Wells' perfect game was a couple of years before our Boomer was born, and we're Pittsburgh Pirate fans anyhow.  Oh well, it's a good name.

John's comments:

  • Another dog with a working brain on top of his nose.
  • Loud chop bark.
  • Extremely close on checks.
  • A bit slower than his kennel-mates.
  • Doesn't run off game.
  • Hunts well both alone and in a pack.

Boomer has sired these dogs:

  • none yet
