Board and Requests
If you've
got anything you'd like us to consider posting here, feel free to
email it to us and we'll see what the IT department can do about
posting it. If your request involves feedback from other beaglers,
you might want to post it on our Patch
Beagles E-Group instead.
REQUEST: 13" Patches?
8/31/04: We've gotten a request from Laura Peters at Country
Side Kennel in South Carolina, asking after anyone breeding 13"
Patches, in order to run cottontail through low briar. We weren't
able to give her any leads, but that's the purpose of this page.
If anyone is breeding small hounds, either below 13" or as close
to it as possible, or if you know someone who is, please let Laura
know. Email to countrysidekennel29431@earthlink.net.
You could CC us here at BEB also, as we'd like to know too.
REQUEST: Pedigree Information
1. Breeder's name for Pine Patch Stupe, HD633835. Did
G.R. Dinius breed this dog?
2. Breeder's name for Pennyroyal Patch Casey, HC594417. We have some of his early history but haven't been able to nail down
who actually bred him and where. Massachusetts, and a man named
Willis? Willis might be his first owner though, not the breeder. Any leads are greatly appreciated. Also, we're trying to identify the fourth dog in Casey's litter: we know of Casey, Buckeye Patch Ann, and Dalton's Big Hooter. There's one more, possibly with a D in its name (another Dalton's dog perhaps?). The old-style AKC numbers give no clues as to siblings and litters, so we're stumped. It may even be a dog we have elsewhere in our records, but we can't connect it with this litter of pups (Buckeye Patch Blitzer X Buckeye Patch Misty, whelped 8/2/1978).
REQUEST: More Pedigree Information
Here are some other dogs that we are missing some pedigree information
for, as we try to fill in back generations on our BEB pedigrees.
We'll also be glad to have whelping dates, if you know them. Many
thanks to anyone who takes the time to help us out here.
1. Northwind
Patch Spirit, HD889038 (stud-book date, color)
2. Dalton's Patch Fred, HC289447 (stud-book date)
3. Pennyroyal Sweetie, HC032120 (stud-book date)
4. King's Pal Patch, HC414597 (stud-book date)
5. King's Lady Patch, HC096661 (stud-book date)
6. Buster Brown Patch, HC720536 (stud-book date)
7. Norman's Fancy Boot's Patch, HC282392 (stud-book date)
For the following dogs we only have the names, so we can use anything
you have to share. Couldn't even come up with AKC#s for these.

REQUEST: Dog Haulers
Since we don't air-ship our dogs, we're always interested
in hearing about anyone who travels to pick up and deliver dogs for
others. If you perform this service or have information about
someone who does, we'd like to hear from you with details, rates,
contact information, etc. It's the buyer's responsibility to
take delivery in Tyrone and get their
new dog home, but we try to help out with leads or references when
we have them. We have a list of a few haulers, but not much
experience with any of them, so opinions from people who've used them
would be very helpful.
