Lucy and her littermate Linus were brought to BEB as pups. Their pedigree featured dogs bred by Mike Yates in Mississippi, and later on by Leroy Miller, who brought some of Mike's bloodstock north to Pennsylvania.  Lucy was a medium-speed, hard searcher who loved to get into brush piles after rabbits.  When we had too many females and decided not to integrate this much Yates blood into our program, Lucy was sold in Sept. 2000 to Rodney Tate in Jamestown PA.  Rod later sold her to co-owners Terry Vanosdale of Plowboys Pache Kennel in Lenoir City TN (email link for Terry), and Steve Smith in Illinois. Terry had already purchased Linus directly from us, and wanted his sister too. Terry's been breeding very successfully with both dogs.
