dam: Sugar Ridge Ivory Patch, #HM65305105
breeder:
Charles Aldridge II, Winslow IN
owner: Darrell Shildt, Altoona PA

4-generation pedigree  (PDF, 10kb)

Buck was bred to Pearl at the beginning of August 2004, who whelped four pups on October 4th.  Due to Buck's sudden death on October 7th, this was the last litter he sired.  Pennyroyal Patch Casey was Buck's grandsire on the top side, and was in the 4th generation twice on the bottom side.

Buck's owner, Darrell Shildt, gave us the following comments:

  • Loud bawl mouth that could be heard from long distances.  "Sounded like a coon dog running."
  • Drove hard, searched hard, hunted hard all day.
  • Ran well by himself or packed up.  "It was a joy to take him out alone and just listen to him go."
  • Good control.

John adds:

  • Buck was one of the fastest dogs I ever ran mine with.

Buck's death was a loss to the entire Patch community, and he will be missed greatly.
